Gentlemen:
This letter transmits 4 copies of the study regarding the Karluk Fuel Storage
System. This study was authorized in your notice to proceed issued under Con-
tract AEA 2800097, Work Order #3, dated October 16, 1989.
This study addresses the conditions and problems assosciated with the existing
fuel storage system at Karluk. The study makes recommendations for improvements
to the fuel storage tank, and a new fuel pipeline to the beach. After you have
had the opportunity to review the information, we will be happy to discuss any
aspect of the data with you or your appointed representative.
