Thomas Remote Construction Maint. Worker 12/4/89: Depart Anchorage 11:00 a.m./arrive King Salmon 12:10 p.m., depart King Salmon on Penn Air Caravan with freight shipped the previous week. Arrive at Igiugig 4:15 p.m. Found trench at jobsite to be 4 full of snow. Removed snow and ice. 12/5 - 12/13: Welded arctic pipe and placed in trench, completed al] termination connections between exterior steel pipe and interior copper lines in power house, pump house, Chiniz, and Lita office. Air tested complete system - detected no leaks, installed insulating jackets and foam. Charged system with 150 gallons of water-glycol 50/50 mix agrundfos cir- culating pump and thermostat were installed in the clinic and office heating loops. After spending 14 days purging air out of the line, we finally got heat throughout the whole system. Chip Sterbenz arrived on 12/8 to assist myself with the completion of project. Back filling of the trench was 70% completed.
