I forgot to add:
The bladder in the expansion tank needs to be compatible with propylene glycol
at 185F+.
Also, PHS should install a 50 psi prv on the WH return line of their H/E.

Here's the info for the Diomede Waste Heat equipment:
Pump: 60 GPM at 28 feet TDH (Grundfos UPC50-160,speed 3 or equivalent)
This pump is sized for PHS to install a H/E with a 3 psi pressure drop at 30 gpm.
Expansion Tank: Taco CAX84-2 with a 12 psig precharge, or equivalent. Min Acceptance volume = 12 gallons and min tank vol = 22 gals System capacity 250 gallons, fill temp 40F, 12 psig precharge 40 psig max Operating pressure.
This assumes that the expansion tank and pressure relief valve are on the suction side of the circ pump and the prv setting is 50 psi.
Glycol: Use Dowfrost Inhibited Propylene Glycol at 40% concentration. 110 gallons of glycol are required.
NOte: I recommend sending out 3 drums of glycol so DJU has a
supply of glycol for future use.
If you would like me to sketch up the piping arrangement for the heat
exchangers, please let me know.
