File: PC61-0389A City of Sheldon Point Attn: Mayor Edward Adams General Delivery Sheldon Point, Alaska 99666 Dear Mayor Adams: On January 26, 1990, the Commission granted the City of Sheldon Point (Sheldon) an updated permanent Power Cost Equalization _ (PCE) level of 23.06 cents per kilowatt-hour (/kWh) for all clas- ses of customers, effective for billings rendered on or after January 26, 1990. The increase is due to an increase in the price of fuel. For your reference, a copy of the Commission Staff’s recommendation and schedules is attached as an Appendix. The Commission reminds Sheldon of its continued obligation under the PCE legislation to provide its customers with the notice specified in AS 44.83.162(k) or similar notice approved by the Alaska Energy Authority. The Commission also reminds Sheldon of its obligation under 3 AAC 52.620 and 3 AAC 52.640 to notify the Commission of any change in its fuel costs and/or efficiency of operation and puts Sheldon on notice that failure to comply with those requirements could jeopardize its continued participation in the PCE program.
