FY89 line losses are approximately 29%, and the loads are imbalanced (65A, 80A, 100A) Recent information indicates that approximately one-half of the 29% line losses was a result of improper metering at the school. This was corrected 4/89 and losses are currently 15.4% in FY90. The fuel efficiency in FY90 is 8.1 Kwh/gal. Existing generation equipment consists of 2-Deutz gen-sets (1-150 Kw and 1-100 Kw) and a 125 Kw John Deere gen-set. The 150 Kw Deutz was new 10/89. The 125 Kw JD is STANDBY ONLY. The measured connected load 6/20/89 was 65 Kw. The estimated peak (est’d by Utility Mgr. 1/10/90) intermittent load is 145 kw. Automatic paralleling switchgear is available, but not used. There is a possibility of repowering the 125 Kw JD to 75 OR 90 KW for use in the summer and as backup in the winter to be used in parallel with the 100 Kw Deutz if needed. NO ESTIMATE OF COST OR SAVINGS HAS BEEN CALCULATED. fb Zor Avr
