Renewable Energy Fund Advisory Committee
Notice is hereby given that the Renewable Energy Fund Advisory Committee will hold a regular meeting on
Friday, January 7, 2011 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. For additional information, contact Vince Beltrami, Chairman.
This meeting will be conducted by electronic media pursuant to AS 44.88.050(a) and AS 44.62.310 at the
following location:
Alaska Energy Authority's Board Room, 813 W. Northern Lights Boulevard, Anchorage, Alaska;
The public is invited to attend. The State of Alaska (AEA) complies with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities
Act of 1990. Persons requiring special modifications to participate should contact AEA staff at (907) 771-3028 to
make arrangements.

Since | will be out all of next week, | am posting the State online notice today for the January 7" REFAC
meeting so that we meet the posting rules. | just wanted you all to know. We will get out documents the first
week in January — if you have them sooner, please forward them to May and she can put them in the REFAC
1/7/2011 meeting folder.
May, if the group feels the documents need to be sent out earlier than Monday the 3”, please gather them
from the folder, let Peter review and send to the REFAC group listing. Thank you.

- Your fuel savings chart presented with regional summaries. Good luck with that one.
Emily. Peter will give direction.
- Senator Hoffman’s focus — reduce heating costs. Is this something we try and focus Round V
on?
Next meeting. Suggest that REFAC meet in March. Devany gives 20 minute presentation of BIO/CHP
program goals and activities followed by discussion.
- _ Lifting the caps on projects / pooling of smaller communities applications. This will definitely
impact regional spreading.
Consider next REFAC meeting given results of AEA review.
- Next meeting Friday, 1/7/2011
| need to review all local support scores and match amount scores as a quality control on my earlier
work. | have received updated information on some of these so | know some need to revised.
Okay
Appeals. We need to leave 2 weeks for this process. In addition, we need one or two days before and
after the process to get the notifications emailed, then review and respond to any appeals submitted by
applicants.
We need to complete stage 3 review before Christmas. This should give us enough time.
