The wind data outlined in the table below was evaluated in this analysis, taking into consideration both fatigue and extreme loads. The results indicate that the subject wind turbine configuration is likely suitable, though the need for some type of loads mitigation strategy and reinforced tower cannot be completely ruled-out without completion of a full Mechanical Loads Assessment (MLA) based on a more comprehensive study of the onsite wind conditions. This conclusion is based upon the wind data considered in the analysis and is contingent upon the accuracy of the wind data. Any change to the wind data must be reviewed by GE to determine if there is a change in turbine suitability and a complete Mechanical Loads Analysis (MLA) must be completed once a final layout and wind data has been provided for all turbine locations. Average Wind Speed, Vavg (m/s) Representative Turbulence Intensity @ 15 m/s (%) 50-Year 3- second Gust (m/s) Average Air Density (kg/m3) Wind Shear Exponent Weibull k Factor Upflow angle (deg) 7.1 12.2% 51 1.227 0.23 2 8 This analysis is provided for reference only to compare predicted site loads based on the wind data above, with the predicted design loads envelope of the wind turbine of interest. This analysis should not be interpreted as a warranty or guarantees of performance.
