Subject: Approval and endorsement for CIRI Energy application
CIRI Energy, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI).
CIRI Energy is applying for grant of funding from the Renewable Energy Fund
Round 15 to support a renewable energy development project located
approximately 12 miles north of Healy, Alaska. CIRI is the governing authority
over CIRI Energy, LLC and supports the submittal of the grant application.
Suzanne Settle is the Vice President of Energy, Lands and Resources for CIRI and
serves as the President of CIRI Energy, LLC. Ms. Settle is authorized by CIRI to
execute the application and to commit CIRI Energy, LLC to perform the obligations
consistent with the grant application. Such obligations include providing matching
resources and covering cost overruns that exceed the budgeted amount estimated
in the application. As proposed in the grant application, CIRI Energy will provide
$54,000 in matching resources through a combination of in kind and financial
resources.
