Nome, AK 99762 RE: Battery Energy Storage System at the Nome Joint Utility Systems Dear Ken, Go Electric, a Saft company, is pleased to offer the two budgetary estimates for a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at the Nome Joint Utility Systems (NJUS). • 2 MW BESS • 4 MW BESS Go Electric has over a decade of experience in deploying behind -the-meter microgrids and welcomes the opportunity to present this preliminary proposal to NJUS. The Go Electric system described in this technical proposal is more than microgrid ready, the LYNC Secure® PCS is a combined power conversion system with the AutoLYNC microgrid controller and will include batteries manufactured by Troes. The Go Electric Platform Enabled Microgrid System provides the required power and is capable of a seamless/blipless transfer between the batteries and distributed energy resources onsite. This system is a 100 kW/400 kWh unit that is 20-feet long and is smaller would be similar in size to the one presented in this proposal. Visiting our Anderson site would allow for the NJUS team to meet the Go Electric team to ask pertinent questions about the development of the BESS provided in this proposal.
