HomeMy WebLinkAboutPPC Letterour wind resources are at their lowest point. The 200kw of solar will allow emergency power
for our power plant, along with sufficient electricity for all the refrigerators and freezers in the
homes in Konginganak.
While this project is important to our community, I believe that we must also have projects that
show significant fuel savings, and which demonstrate the benefits of combined wind and solar
to other remote communities. By doing so, projects like this and programs like yours can have a
much greater impact on all remote communities and in particular to peoples of the Arctic.
