RE: Funding request and match for turbine blades.

Thank you for the opportunity to submit Kwig Power Company's application to AEA's Renewable
Energy Fund.
Kwig initially installed our 5 wind turbines in 20I0-2012, which had been used and refurbished. There
have been many advances since then and we are requesting this funding to increase the power and
effectiveness of our system.
Based on the efforts of our sister community Kongiganak, we have now found a supplier/manufacturer
for the Upgrading all of our turbines with the new blades sets will provide exceptional efficiencies to our
community.
We are able to offer the local wind technical labor to install the blade sets.
As the Utility Manager:
•I am the formal point of contact for our REF grant application.
•I can commit Kwig Power Company to the REF grant obligations.
•I am committing a minimum of $18,750 of local labor to install the 5 blade sets
o I am the authorized individual to sign the application and have the authority to commit the Kwig
Power Company to the REF grant obligations.
o I certify that Kwig Power Company is in compliance with applicable federal state and local laws
including existing credit and federal tax obligations.
