RE: InPipe Energy’s application for the AEA Renewable Energy Fund
To whom it may concern:
As Alaska’s first deployment accelerator with a mission to accelerate the resource revolution by deploying
technologies that decarbonize and electrify critical systems, Launch Alaska is pleased to endorse InPipe
Energy for the AEA Renewable Energy Fund.
As a participant in our Technology Deployment Track (TDT), a program designed to compress the time,
proximity and focus needed to forge partnerships, identify projects and deploy solutions, InPipe Energy
has identified their proposed project to convert excess pressure in the city’s water supply system to clean,
renewable energy in collaboration with City of Homer. In working with the InPipe Energy team, we have
been impressed with their ability to work collaboratively with communities, utilities, and organizations to
execute and deliver - even with challenging restrictions of COVID.
Launch Alaska fully supports InPipe Energy’s application for funding of the Homer Energy Recovery
Project. The successful funding of this project would undoubtedly unlock further opportunities that will
result in additional similar projects throughout the State of Alaska.
