Dear Mr. Himschoot:
The Wood-Tikchik State Park Management Council met on May 27, 2020 to discuss the
Proposed Study Plan for the Nuyakuk hydro-electric power project. At the meeting the Council
passed a resolution consisting of two elements. First it encourages the Cooperative to assure that
the fisheries investigations undertaken as part of the study plan be of a robust enough nature that
they provide the information needed to make informed decisions about the proposed project.
Secondly the resolution requests that the Cooperative stand down from FERC’s Integrated
License Process for 12 months to accommodate completion of these study plans.

this important issue.
