EXHIBIT F: GENERAL DESIGN DRAWINGS AND SUPPORTING INFORMATION
1 Contents and Purpose of this Exhibit
Kenai Hydro, LLC (KHL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Homer Electric Association, Inc.
(HEA), is filing this Draft License Application (DLA) for an original license for the Grant Lake
Hydroelectric Project (FERC No. 13212 [Project or Grant Lake Project]) under Part I of the
Federal Power Act.
KHL has prepared a Preliminary Supporting Design Report, which describes the requisite
supporting information to demonstrate that proposed structures for the Grant Lake Hydroelectric
Project (Project) will be safe and adequate to fulfill their stated functions. A copy of the
Preliminary Supporting Design Report is included as Attachment F-1.1
The Exhibit F design drawings were prepared in conformance with 18 CFR §4.39, and provide
plans, elevations, and sections in accordance with the requirements of 18 CFR §4.41(g). The
drawings should be considered preliminary. Final Exhibit F design drawings will be filed with
the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for Commission approval prior to
commencement of any construction of the Project. Table F.1-1 lists the drawings, which are
contained in Attachment F-2.

Pursuant to 18 CFR §4.39(e), Exhibit F design drawings showing major structures, as well as the
Preliminary Supporting Design Report, are being withheld and filed separately with FERC as
Critical Energy Infrastructure Information (CEII) as DLA, Volume 3. Procedures for obtaining
access to CEII may be found at 18 CFR §388.113. Requests for access to CEII should be made
to the FERC’s CEII Coordinator.

information has been filed with FERC with a CEII designation in Volume 3 of the Draft License
Application submittal. Procedures for obtaining access to CEII may be found at 18 CFR §
388.113. Requests for access to CEII should be made to the Commission’s CEII coordinator.]
