EXHIBIT G: PROJECT BOUNDARY MAPS
1 Contents and Purpose of This Exhibit
Kenai Hydro, LLC (KHL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Homer Electric Association, Inc.
(HEA), is filing this Draft License Application (DLA) for an original license for the Grant Lake
Hydroelectric Project (FERC No. 13212 [Project or Grant Lake Project]) under Part I of the
Federal Power Act.
The 3-map series, included in Attachment G-1, depicts the location and principal features of the
proposed Grant Lake Project and delineates the FERC Project boundary in conformance with 18
CFR § 4.39 and 18 CFR § 4.41(h). The accuracy of the Project boundary line is dependent on
the accuracy of the base maps. The Project boundary alignment, in the vicinity of Grant Lake,
follows the 703-foot contour line derived from currently available topographic data. The
precision of the Project boundary will be refined as additional survey data of the Grant Lake
shoreline becomes available. This data will be collected upon acquisition of the FERC License.
The maps being submitted with this DLA are not yet stamped by a surveyor but will be for the
Final License Application (FLA). Similarly, the supporting vector and text data will be provided
in the FLA.
