RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF
NANA REGIONAL CORPORATION, INC.
RESOLUTION 2009 —03
A Resolution Approving the Village Economic Development Committee
Strategic Initiatives
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors set aside $12,000,000 in its Use of Proceeds
Plan for the purposes of creating sustainable economies in the NANA Region villages;
and
WHEREAS, the Village Economic Development Committee (Committee) was
formed by Resolution 2008-13 to over oversee use and disbursement of these funds; and
WHEREAS, the Committee has drafted proposed Strategic Initiatives for Village
Economic Development; and
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that the attached Village Economic
Development Committee Strategic Initiatives, and the projects identified therein, are
hereby approved; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the officers and senior management are
authorized and directed to take such actions and execute such documents as are necessary
to implement the Strategic Objectives.
ADOPTED on this 21nd day of January, 2009 at a duly called meeting held in
Kotzebue, Alaska by a vote of- aD for,__f�_against and C� abstaining.
