Re: Letter of Commitment for AEA Proposal
Dear Mr. Fisk:
University of Alaska Fairbanks is pleased to collaborate with the City and Borough of Yakutat
on the proposal entitled “Yakutat District Heating Loop,” which is being submitted to the Alaska Energy
Authority. The Principal Investigator from UAF is Amanda Byrd, research staff in the Alaska Center for
Energy & Power.
The appropriate administrative and programmatic personnel at UAF are aware of the pertinent federal
regulations and policies, and we are prepared to enter into a subcontract with the City and Borough of
Yakutat that ensures compliance with all such policies, should this proposal be funded. A statement of work
and our itemized budget for this subaward is attached.
