CPA_Louden and CityCOOPERATIVE PROJECT AGREEMENT e,ween Louden Tribal Council and The City of Galena For the Galena District Wood Heat Project This doonson a to memorialize an on -going agreement between the parties far management and pursuit of a long tens cammunity goal to develop a sustainable local energy supply for Me facilil es at the former Galena Air Force Base. The goals and intentions of the parties are as follows' 1. Completion of the City'a commiMems under a grantfrom the Alaska Energy Authority Renewable Energy Fund. Raund 6. The grant in the amount of $317,788 was awarded for activities during July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014. 2. Application for a fuller grant from the AEA Renewable Energy Fund, Round 7. 3. Estabtrshment and operation of a wood harvest amity, presently under concbptual development in cooperation with GsnaA'Yoo Limited, a native village corporation and wish the Galena City School District. Toward these ends, the Chy and the Louden Tdbel Council agree to cooperate as follows- 1. To provide mutual staff and administrative support in furtherance of the grant agreements. In particular, Louden Tribal Council has provided funding for the Renewable Energy Fund Round 6 application. and will continue to provide project management and staff assistance at the dacration of the City. 2. The CM agrees M utilize the Project Manager assigned to the Projects by the Louden Tribal Council, e.g.. Environmental Technician Phil Koontz. The Project Manager will he report to the City Manager and City Council as directed, and is subject to repHcemerrt "air discretion. 3. The City and Louden Tribal Council will cooperate to Pmvide documerdaaon, support, and advice to the corrtrzctors an tlx: Renewable Energy Fund Projects. and Wit comply with the requirements of the Alaska Energy Authority as set forth in the grant agreaments- Acknowledged on behalf of the Cry of Galena by: Acknowledged on behalf of Louden Tribal Council by.
