The above graph shows an upwards trend in kW hour usage over the last 5 years.
Higher kW hours sold for the months in January, February and March of fiscal year
2011-12 versus 2012-13 can be attributed to extreme temperature variations between
winters. 2011/12 was unusually cold with temperatures reaching -40 F and 2012/13 saw
warmer temperatures, often times 40 F above.
The graph kW Hours Sold by Fiscal Year shows a steady increase in usage over the last
5 years.
The above table shows kW hours sold for each month
of fiscal years 2008/09 through June of fiscal year
2013/14 and includes a yearly total for each fiscal
year. A breakdown of the percentage of change from
each fiscal year is given on the right side of the table.
The percent difference overall is a difference between
fiscal years 2012/13 and fiscal years 2008/09,
showing an overall increase in energy usage of 33%
over the last 5 years. A breakdown of the overall
difference by month shows an increase in usage of
48% from May of 2009 to May of 2013.
