Dear Council:
This letter is in response to the email I received from grant writer Josh Weiser. In his email, he
asked if the corporation would support the village council should they upgrade their heating
system to a wood fired unit for the lodge and the clinic. ,
Based on the information we received, approximately 100 cords of wood annually is needed to
heat both buildings and would like be harvested from corporation lands.
We will support the council with wood from the burn area which is located approximately forty
(40) miles north of the village so that locals will continue to have access to the nearby dry wood
for their use.
