The Male Pass Site Advisory Counel has met and heard about the proposed
wood fired boiler project and changes for Thome Bay School. Prisdlla Goulding,
the new federal programs and grants manager. presented a summary of the
change to be made to Me Thome Bay System. As rt Wined out the cument
confgura mid was not big enough to carry the load and the idea is now to replace
the Iwo inusfing boilers with awe larger Gams, the 3200s. The In currently
Installed will be moved W our school in Whale Pass and the Hollis School.
The site council had some discussion at the meeting of September V, 2013 and
all are in support of the new project and grant application to the Alaska Energy
Authority.
