Hi Eric,
I have the data you asked for on our Nenana Maintenance Station.
The shop's area is 3800 sf.
Last year (July 2012 - June 2013)we went through 5,317 gallons of #1 heating oil that averaged $3.50
per gallon.
I would be happy to shift over to your system if it is competitive with what we're paying for heating oil.
I assume you would be utilizing glycol/water pumped through the new underground pipes. Do you
know at this point if we would use a heat exchanger to interface with our own building heat distribution
systems? We don't have much shop area to work with at Nenana. Our heating system is a boiler
feeding hydronic unit heaters and radiant panels now. I would expect the interface and metering should
be pretty easy.
Would you be asking for any capital installation cost from me? That would be tough for me with the
current administrations budget restraints.
