A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE SUBMISSION OF A GRANT TO PLAN
AND DESIGN A BIOMASS HEATING PLANT
RESOLUTION 2013-12
WHEREAS: the Nenana City School District has been exploring alternative methods to
provide heat to the District facilities; and
WHEREAS: the District has completed a Feasibility Study to construct a biomass heat
plant; and
WHEREAS; the District wishes to submit a grant request in order to plan and design a
biomass system for District facilities with possible extension to Municipal facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Assembly hereby supports the
submission of a grant request by the Nenana City School District for the plan and design
of a biomass heating system.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the Nenana City Assembly is composed of _6_
members of whom _5_, constituting a QUORUM were present and that the foregoing
resolution was passed by the Nenana Assembly, Nenana, Alaska, this _12th day of
__September. 2013.
Passed and approved by a duly constituted quorum on this _12th_ day of
September in the year 2013 by a vote of _5_ to _0_.
