Subject: Stack Heat Power Project Proposal
Dear Donna & Naknek Electric Coop Board Members,
Greetings and good morningl On behalf of the 17 Southwest Alaska Communities that are represented
by the Bristol Bay Economic Development Corporation (BBEDC), I want to add our voice of support to
what you folks are proposing.
Naknek Electric provides vital infrastruce service directly to two of of our related communites. The
services though go well beyond Naknek and King Salmon though as these two important communities
provide vital regional services and serves as a major hub to numerous other Bristol Bay communities.
Anything that we can do to deal with ever increasing fuel price increases, transportation costs, and air
quality regulatory complaince are of ever increasing importance and critical to our region.
We hope that this project that you are pursueing will not only succeed and meet all your expectations,
but that it can also serve as a model for other communities in our region for implementation. If we can
