RENEWABLE ENERGY GRANT PROGRAM
RESOULTION 13 – 03
Whereas Southwest Region Schools Board of Education authorizes the Facilities
Director to act on its behalf for obtaining grant funding through the Alaska Energy
Authority Grant Program,
Whereas Southwest Region Schools Board of Education recognizes Mr. Rick
Dallmann as having the knowledge and expertise as demonstrated by his
leadership and direct involvement in all Facility and Maintenance issues,
specifically with capitol improvement projects, State and Federal grant programs,
Whereas Southwest Region Schools Board of Education recognizes the need to
control energy costs and the benefits of a Heat Recovery System, and
Whereas Southwest Region Schools Board of Education wishes to address
energy consumption use throughout our District by participating in projects that
could provide substantial energy savings,
Whereas Southwest Region Schools is in compliance with all federal, state, and
local laws including existing credit and federal tax obligations,
Therefore be it resolved, the Southwest Region Schools Board of Education is
authorizing Mr. Rick Dallmann (Director of Facilities & Maintenance) on behalf of
Southwest Region School District to seek grant funding through the Alaska
Energy Authority Renewable Energy Grant Program.
