Alaska Energy Authority,
During the July 9, 2012 school board meeting the Board unanimously
approved a motion to move forward with the grant application for the
Alaska Energy Authority through the Renewable Grant Fund Program.
In compliance with grant requirements:
KPBSD assumes all liabilities arising from the ownership and
operation of the project.
KPBSD will not sell, transfer, encumber, or dispose of any of its
interest in the facilities constructed with this grant funding during
the economic life of the Seward Schools Biomass Heating System
without prior written approval of the Authority.
