EXCAVATED ROCK MAY BE DISPOSED OF IN THE EXISTING TUNNEL UPSTREAM OF STATION 66+00 AT THE CONTRACTOR'S CONVENIENCE. EXISTING HOIST HOUSE, CABLES, SHEAVES AND VENT PIPE WILL REMAIN IN SERVICE PRIOR TO THE GENERATION OUTAGE. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROTECT THESE ITEMS FROM DAMAGE. ANY DAMAGE SHALL BE IMMEDIATELY REPAIRED. ALL ACCESS ROADS SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED WITH SUPER ELEVATION TOWARD THE INLAND SIDE SO THAT ROAD RUNOFF IS COLLECTED AND ROUTED TO A DRAINAGE SUMP. NO ROAD RUNOFF SHALL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE LAKE DURING CONSTRUCTION. REFER TO EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION CONTROL PLAN. PORTAL ACCESS ROAD AND RELATED EXCAVATION, INCLUDING EXISTING ROCK COFFERDAM ARE SHOWN FOR THE CONTRACTORS INFORMATION. CONSTRUCTION OF PORTAL ACCESS ROAD AND THE ROCK COFFERDAM AS SHOWN ARE NOT REQUIRED. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DEVELOPMENT OF ACCESS TO THE PORTAL AND COFFERDAM ARRANGEMENT. REFER TO DWG'S 109-05-005, 109-05-017 AND 109-05-018 FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. RESERVOIR ACCESS ROAD SHALL BE 15 FEET WIDE (MINIMUM) AND PROVIDE CLEAR ACCESS TO THE LAKE AT ELEVATION 360. = TUNNEL STA 65+07 INVERT ELEVATION = 171.6f TUNNEL WORKPOINT COORDINATES NUMBER NORTHING EASTING ELEVATION TWP 1 1913170.73 2380667.04 311.22 TWP2 1913154.15 2380614.77 430.20 TWP3 1 1912921.85 1 2379881.75 1 172.30 ARCHITECTURAL 1 CIVIL 1 ELECTRICAL 1 MECHANICAL 1 GEOTECHNICAL DETAIL 1 TURNOUT SCALE B 04-20-12 A ISSUED FOR BID DATE REV DESCRIPTION OF ISSUES & REVISIONS 6 5 I 2 1 1 EXISTING HOIST END OF RESERVOIR EXISTING MAX ( /A ) CABLES, SHEAVES AND ACCESS ROAD START OF POOL EL 3 ---EXISTING MIN VENT PIPE (NOTE 2) PORTAL ACCESS ROAD AT PO EL 270 ;TING H07OUSE ROAD EL 360 (NOTE 6) TE 2) \ _ 360 0 PLAN 0 30 60 FEET SCALE A SCALE A 1 "=30' DESIGN ENGINEER DATE ANY ITEM TO WHICH A PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER HAS APPLIED THEIR SEAL UNDER THE "ARCHITECTS, ENGINEERS, LAND SURVEYORS, AND S.W.
