RESOLUTION 12-12
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE LAKE AND PENINSULA BOROUGH MANAGER’S
APPLICATION FOR THE ALASKA ENERGY AUTHORITY’S RENEWABLE ENERGY
FUND ROUND IV AND ALOCATION OF FUNDS AS A MATCH
WHEREAS, the Lake and Peninsula Borough has applied for funds from the Alaska
Energy Authority for three alternative energy projects; and
WHEREAS, the Lake and Peninsula Borough has offered a cash match for the projects;
and
WHEREAS, the cash match will come out of the Lake and Peninsula Borough’s General
Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lake and Peninsula Borough that the
Borough Mayor and Assembly authorize the Borough Manager to apply for and serve as
the signatory official for the grants; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOVLED, all matching funds for the grants will be withdrawn from
the general fund.
PASSED AND APPROVED by a duly constituted quorum of the Lake and Peninsula
Borough Assembly on this 16th day of October 2012
