As a member of the Copper Valley Regional Biomass Cluster Group, Ahtna
Incorporated is pleased to provide this letter of support for the Copper River Native
Association's application to the Alaska Energy Authority for a biomass system that
will provide heat and hot water for the Multi Disciplinary Combined Facility (MDCF)
and associated facilities.
This project will result in substantial cost savings to the Copper River Native
Association and their beneficiaries which supports broader regional efforts of our
group to stimulate the production and utilization of locally produced biomass fuels
that will create jobs and economic development opportunities for local businesses
in our region.
