As the coordinator and member of the Copper Valley Regional Biomass Cluster
Group, Copper Valley Development Association is pleased to provide this letter
of support for the Copper River Native Association’s application to the Alaska
Energy Authority for feasibility and study of a biomass system that will provide
heat and hot water for the health facility and associated facilities.
This project will result in substantial cost savings to Copper River Native
Association and supports broader regional efforts of our group to stimulate the
production and utilization of locally produced biomass fuels that will create jobs
and economic development opportunities for local businesses in our region.
