WHEREAS:The NAtive Village of Tuntutuliak is the governing body of
Tuntutuliak,Alas.k:l;2itnd
WHEREAS,The Tuntu.tullilk Tribal Council i~n federally recognized Tribal
Governing Body tor the Native VUlage of Tuntutuliak;and
WHEREAS,the Tuntutuliak Community Scniees Association is a certHled electric
utility serving Tuntutuliak,govemed by a Board of Dil'ectonl;and
WHEREAS,A.laska EncJgy Authority Is soliciting npplicl'ltion for the Renewable
Energy Fund Round 4 for funding for renewable energy pro.tects around the state of
Alaska;and
WBEREAS~The Native Village of Tuntutuliak desires to increase the energy
efficiency of the loeal power plant,tribal homes and «:ommunity buildings,while
reducing the fossil fuel reqQj.-em,ent,and b..vo acquired funding for a higll-
penetration wind diesel system to achieve that goal;and
WHEREAS,The Native Village of Tuntutuliak endeavors to pursue funding from
the Renowab.o Energy Fund Round 4 to furthtr supplement their existing funding
ill order to purchase and iDstall systems for greater load stability and higher
penetration diesel fuel dispbu~eMent.
WHEREAS,The Native Village of Tuntutuliak and Tllnt:utuli:lk Commnnity
Services Association ,=ommit to pfoviding the mat~bing resources indicated in the
application to the Renewable Energy Fund Round.4;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED mAT The Native Village of Tuntutuliak
hereby supports the Tuntutuliak Community Servi~es .Association's application to
the Renewable!Energy Fund of Alaska and it's efforts to cooperate and coordinate
these energy projects with the Chaninik Wind Group,and autilo,ri:lOeCad Andrew,
TCSA Power Plant General Manager to represent them as an appli(:ant for their

efforts to apply for,secure,and obtain funding to mstaJl syl!ltemsto supplement their
wind/diesel system..
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Tuntutuliak Community Serv:i,ees
Asso~illtion Power Company i6 in good standing with res,peet to it's Qxisting credit
and federal tax obligations.
CERTIFICATION
The foregOing resolution was passed and approved by a duly convened meeting of
the Tuntutuliak Tribal Council,this 15th day of September,2010.By a vote of 4 yes,o no,0 abstaining.
