Bldg #11, Kokhanok Village Council: This building consists of 3+ structures connected via a wind-break area and an entry. The identified spaces are for EPA/IGAP, Nahasda Dept., supervisor, utility manager, village administrator and a single toilet. A single oil-fired Monitor Stove is located in the Nahasda Office (East Wall). The second Toyo Laser 56 is located in the general open office, (East Wall also). The oil storage tanks are between the KVC Office and the Community Hall. This building will be provided with hydronic heating equipment to utilize the wood boiler heat. B. Bldg #10 Community Bldg A Monitor 2400 and a wood stove are installed. On the south wall, another Monitor 2400 stove is installed with an adjacent oil tank. The oil tank and wood storage are outside the east wall. The overall structure dimensions are about 24’W X 60’L. This building will be provided with hydronic heating equipment to utilize the wood boiler heat. C. Bldg. #13, Fire Hall: The fire hall is 40’W X 60’L and is unheated at this time. A 40’W X 40’L addition is possible to the west because the steel structural components are on site but remain crated. A 500-gallon double wall tank is on-site. It is located along the north wall, by the circular drive. On the south end of the building are two offices and a toilet, plus a mezzanine above. The electric service drop is an overhead power line to a weather head at the SW corner of the structure. The panel itself is on the south wall. This building will be provided with heat from the wood boiler as well as oil fired backup heat. The backup oil heaters are not included in the economic analysis. D. Wood Boiler \ Wood Shed: The Fire Hall wood boiler can be located east of the building, but there is a leach field here and also a grade change to consider. The other wood boiler would supply the KVC Office and the Community Hall. The heat from the wood boiler will be delivered via arctic pipe. The wood shed will have storage capacity for 60% of the annual wood demand. Its roof will extend over the boiler and operating area. The wood boiler and shed will be secured by a 6’ high chain link fence. Economically, the Fire Hall has a faster payback than the KVC Office and the Community Hall. Hydronic heating equipment needs to be provided for the KVC Office and the Community Hall as well as to the currently unheated Fire Hall. However, the faster payback of the Fire Hall results from the higher fuel consumption when compared to the KVC Office and the Community Hall.
