1.06 ACCEPTANCE
A. This offer shall be open to acceptance and is irrevocable for thirty days from the bid closing date.
B. It this bid is accepted by Owner within the lime period slated above, we will:
1. Execute the Agreement within 14 days of receipt of acceptance of this bid.
2. Commence work within seven days after written Notice to Proceed of this bid.
C. The successful bidder shall finish performance and payment bonds within 30 days after notice
of award. The amount of the performance bond shall be equivalent to the amount of the payment
bond. The payment bond shall be in a sum of one -had the total amount payable by the talms of
the contract Bonds must be executed by a corporate surety qualified to do business in the state
of Alaska.
D. If this bid Is accepted Within the time stated, and we fail to commence the Work or we fall to
Provide the required Bond(s), 01 security deposit shall be forteted as damages to Owner by
reason of our failure, Iknited in amount to the lesser of the face value of the security deposit of
the difference between this bid and the bid upon which a Contact Is signed.
E. In the event our bid is not accepted within the time stated above, the required security deposit
shall be returned to the undersigned, in accordance with the proNsions of the Instructions le
Bidders; unless a mutually satisfactory arrangement is made for its retention and validity for an
extended period of time.

1.08 CHANGES TO THE WORK
A. When Engineer establishes that the method of valuation for Changes in the Work will be net
cost plus a Percentage fee in accordance with General Conditions, our percentage fee will be:
