Dear Ms. O'Neil:
At the September 1, 2010 School Board meeting the Board unanimously voted to send a
letter of support en:ouraging the Mat -Su Borough to apply for a renewable energy grant for
the Su Valley Jr/S , High School wood fired boiler. We further request the Borough set
aside an adequato timber base in the Natural Resource Management Unit to help ensure
an adequate wood supply for the boiler.
We are excited about the opportunity I:o work with the Borough to Investigate the
opportunities for wing a renewable energy, source to heat Su Valley Jr/Sr High School. We
look forward to working with the Borough on this project -
