Dear Mr. Butch White, Grant Manager:
The Native Village of Cantwell held a Cantwell Tribal Meeting on July 5`", 2008 and at
this meeting it was determined that the village supports the idea to do a feasibility study
for the Jack River Hydro idea. This project can provide many benefits to the village and
also to the Cantwell Community and the Denali Borough. Attached are letters of support
from David M. Talerico (Denali Borough Mayor), Steven W. Denton (V.P. Business
Development, Usibelii Coal Mine, Inc.), Kathryn Martin (V.P. Land and Resources,
Ahtna Inc.), Paul R. Anderson (Superintendent, Denali National Park & Preserve) and
Michael J. Wright (V.P. of Transmission & Distribution, GVEA).
