The Rasitsm Bay Laboratory, located on the south side ofKacheirl Bay, is a field labortory, of the NOAA Center for Crossed Fisheries andl Habitat Research (CCFHR), under NOAA's National Ocean Service. Since 1959, the Laboratory has supported field and covnolle I laboratory studies on coastal Alaska ecosystems, in order to understood end predict the response of subarctic coastal ecosystems to changes in climate and lend use, ultimately to support coastal managers. The proposed fidal energy project will provide key informative to support this NOAA mission in Alaska We are very interested as facilitating now collaborations with the City of Homer and orrerK Iemak Bey commurmes to apply NOAA expertise, information, and capabilities to assessing the fidal energy, potential ofKachemak Bay.
