Anchorage AK 99503 Dear Mr. White: University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) is pleased to submit a grant application to Alaska Energy Authority for the Renewable Energy Fund Gran t Recommendation Program Round III (AEA 10-015). Working in collaboration with Un iversity of Alaska Fairbanks International Arctic Research Center (UA F-IARC) and WH Pacific , Inc., we propose to conduct a renewable energy Reconnaissance and Feasibility project entitled "Statewide Run-of-River Hydropower Resource Assessment. " Dr. Thomas Ravens with the UAA S chool of Engineering, Dr. Jessie Cherry with UAF­ IARC , and Brian Vanity with W H Pacific, Inc. are committed to fulfilling all responsibilities described in the attached Scope of Work and in the grant proposal. The UAA budget of $173,699, UAF-IARC budget of $151,486, and WH Pacific, Inc. budget of $350,000 have been approved for a total of $675,185. Submission of this letter demonstrates the University of Alaska's commitment to the proposed research . In addition, as the Authorize d O rganizational Representative for UAA, I certify that the University of Alaska is in compliance with applicable federal , state, and local laws including existing credit and federal tax obligations .
