Authorizing the Alaska Biomass Combined Heat & Power
Demonstration Project
The undersigned Secretary of Alaska Power & Telephone Company (the
Corporation) hereby certifies that the toll wing resolution was duly adopted by the board
of directors of the Corporation at on [)
RESOLVED: that the Corporation approves the Alaska Biomass Combined Heat &
Power Demonstration Project Application as was or will be submitted to the
Alaska Energy Authority, Renewable Energy Fund Grant Application Round III,
AEA-10-015;
RESOLVED: that Alaska Power & Telephone Company is an electric utility holding a
certificate of public convenience and necessity under AS 42.05 and is in
compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including existing
credit and federal tax obligations;
RESOLVED: that the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Corporation is hereby
authorized to sign on behalf of the Corporation any contracts, forms, or letters of
commitment for the Alaska Biomass Combined Heat & Power Demonstration
Project Application and will serve as the primary point of contact for the purposes
of this application;
RESOLVED FURTHER: that Alaska Power & Telephone Company will provide the
matching funds and resources, as listed in the grant application under sections 2.6,
4.4.1, 4.4.2, and section 9.
I further certify that this Corporation is duly organized and existing, and has the power to
take the action called for by the foregoing resolution.
