ZFEMA rate is "ad, although very conservative, given the "we" 17% increase in the avoided fuel cost
rate issued by Bethel Uties Corporation over the last five years.
3Conservative estimate of the price of diesel fuel increasing only 3% par year. Five -years of actual data
showed Bethel utilities Corporation's avoided fuel cost rate Increased 17% per year. Sea Rat. for Purchase
of Non -Finn Power From Qualifying Facilities sheets as
Note 1: the $10,000 insurance deductible added in the operating costs each year will completely cover the deductible after 10 years.
Therefore, in Year 11, the $10,000 is subtracted from the Intel operating costs and than the 3% inflation adjusbnent is nuele to it from
Year 11 to Year 30. Sea Brown Agency insurance letter attached.
Note 2: An annual maintenance amount of $6,700 was used, as quoted to the City of Bethel by STG in early 2W8. Savings in the maintenance
category of annual expenses are possible based on a recent actual maintenance Nure from Brent Petrie with AVEC. He reported by atnail
to the City of Bethel that AVEC only incurred $20,000 over the course of one year to operate and maintain sbc Northwind 100 wind turbines
in two remote Alaska coastal viltagas (Kasigluk and Toksook Bay). See Brent Petrie arnad attached.
