Subject: Jack River Hydro Project
Golden Valley Electric Association, Inc. (GVEA) supports the Native Village of Cantwell's Jack
River Hydro Project. This project will move GVEA toward reducing our reliance on oil and
providing renewable energy to GVEA's members. As evidence of our support we will work with
the Native Village of Cantwell to negotiate a power purchase agreement for the full output of the
Jack River Hydro Project.
