Aquacoustics, Inc. would like to be included with the team of Devine Tarbell &
Associates and LGL-Alaska in support of ORPC's efforts in the baseline fisheries study
for a proposed tidal energy project in Cook Inlet near Anchorage, Alaska. Aquacoustics
is a small company specializing in the field of fisheries acoustics and GIS. We
participated in a similar hydroacoustic study with LGL in 2006 to evaluate fish
distributions in Cook Inlet.
Aquacoustics provides fisheries acoustics expertise to government agencies and private
industry in support of regulatory compliance and fish population studies. Our staff has
44 years of experience in the field of fisheries, 33 years of experience in hydroacoustics.
