Dear Kerry:
I am pleased to offer my services as project manager for the AEA Kaltag Bio Mass
Study. The Project Management Services would include acting as the District's agent to
oversee Phases 1 through III of the project. As project manager I would be responsible
for assuring compliance with AEA grant requirements, overseeing consultant
performance and keeping the project within agreed upon timelines and budgets.
Services would be charged at an hourly rate of $85, plus expenses. Contracted services
estimated are not to exceed $19,000.
Phase I - Oversee and assist District in compilation of energy usage
Manage consultant contract
Review work products
Prepare reports and recommendation to AEA and School Board based on stud}
findings
NTE $4,000 plus expenses
Phase II - Manage consultant contract
Review work products
Prepare reports and recommendation to AEA and School Board based on stud]
findings
NTE $5,000 plus expenses
Phase II - Manage consultant contract
Review work products
Issue contract for system design and coordinate biomass design with DEED
heating system project
Obtain engineering cost estimate
Prepare reports and recommendation to AEA and School Board based on
study findings
NTE $5,000 plus expenses
