QUOTATION FOR THE SUPPLY OF THE DESIGN AND CONSULTING SERVICES
SCOPE OF WORK FOR BIO CONCEPTS, LLC
CLIENT: Independent Biofuels, Alaska project
A) Basic Design Scope for Biodiesel production facility capable of 500,000 gpy
Lot 1:
1.Process Design Calculations/Heat & Mass Balance Calculations.
2.Preliminary Pump Sizing Data Sheet
3.Drawing Supply:
a)Hourly Process Flow/Piping and Instrument Diagram(s)
b)Miscellaneous Vessel Drawings
c)Preliminary Overall Equipment Layout Drawing
B) Process Flow Description
1. Written Process Flow Procedure
PRICE: $4500.00 US DOLLARS
C) Design Review: Bio Concepts, LLC review of additional drawings or details
furnished by Customer, or supply of additional information will be billed at a rate of
$65.00/hour.
D) Commissioning Assistance / Supervision at Site:
Bio Concepts will furnish the services of competent personnel to supervise the
build and/or startup of new equipment, assist in the operation and/or conduct a
mechanical check out or inspection of the Purchaser’s existing equipment.
For installations within United States, charges for these services will be as follows:
-$750.00 ($93.75/hr) per man per calendar day or part thereof while absent from
Seller’s works, plus living and transportation expenses while absent from Seller’s
works in Charleston, South Carolina
-Work in excess of the normal eight (8) hour day will be charged at one and one-
half (1-1/2) times the normal hourly rate, or $140.63 per hour. Saturdays will also
be charged at one and one-half (1 ½) times the normal hourly rate, or $140.63 per
hour. Sundays and Legal Holidays will be charged at $175.00 per hour. Daily
transportation time between lodging and work site is not included in the working
hours unless the time required for this travel exceeds a reasonable time.
Performance Guarantees
Within six (6) months of the process start up, Bio Concepts LLC and Purchaser will
conduct acceptance tests to determine the proper functioning and general performance of
the production facility. The tests will be conducted by mutualyl agreed upon procedures.
The length of the trial shall be sufficient for adequate testing ( a five (5) day trial is
suggested). If the production facility fails to meet the specified performance levels based
on the design conditions from agreed upon process during the Acceptance Tests, Bio
Concepts LLC agrees to provide its expertise within the framework of the original scope
of supply and to work in partnership with the Purchase to ensure proper system
operations.

consequential damages. All representations made herein with respect to the operation,
performance, product, or by-product of the equipment or any part thereof, furnished shall
not apply if it is proven by Bio Concepts, LLC that the fluids processed is not typical of
fluids previously encountered by BC,LLC in the same or similar equipment or process.
