Thank you for responding to the Alternative Energy Solicitation. The Denali Commission and Alaska
Energy Authority (AEA) have identified 41 proposals requesting $46.8 million that meet technical,
economic, and other criteria described in the solicitation (see www.akenergyauthority.org). At this time
approximately $5 million is available for funding.
We regret that our review concluded that your proposal did not meet all of these criteria. Since your
proposed technology is pre -commercial and a particular technology vendor is not identified, we are
unable to assess project cost, energy output, or economics.
Please feel free to contact David Lockard at AEA (DLockard@aidea.org or (907)-771-3000) to discuss our
review of your proposal and ideas for improving your prospects for future funding. We anticipate that
the Denali Commission and AEA will solicit proposals for renewable energy project funding this summer.
