RESOLUTION NO.08-19
WHEREAS: The Asa'carsarmiut Tribal Council is a federally recognized governing
body representing the Asa'catsatn-dut Tribe; and
WHEREAS: the Asa'carsarmiut Tribe is eligible to receive fiuiding from Alaska Energy
Authority (AEA), and
WHEREAS: the A.sa'carsarmiut Tribal Council requests funding from the AEA to
purchase Rind Turbines for the Tribe and City Office's for energy conservation.
NOW THEREFORE 13E IT RESOLVED THAT: 'The Asa'carsarntitit Tribal Council
approves the Wind Turbine Project with funding from the AEA.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT: The Asa'carsanniut Tribal Council appoints
James C. Landlord, I"Chief, as the Authorized Signer, Negotiator and Official regarding
anv and all necessary documents.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT: The Asa'carsarmiul, Tribal Council
understands and agrees to match 'fiords in the amount of $5000.00 as required by grant
guidelines.
