ENTITLED:
NUSHAGAK AREA HYDROPOWER PROJECT
GRANT FUNDS SOLICITATION
WHEREAS: Nushagak Electric and Telephone Cooperative's mission is to develop
opportunities advantageous to our membership and
WHEREAS: the Nushagak Area Hydropower Project at Lake Elva and Grant Lake
promises to provide emission free renewable energy at a cost favorably comparable to
existing diesel fueled generation and
WHEREAS: the Nushagak Area Hydropower Project promises to provide stabilized electric
costs upon implementation and
WHEREAS: the Nushagak Area Hydropower Project promises to deliver lower electric
costs in the future therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Directors of Nushagak Electric and Telephone
Cooperative directs the CEO / General Manager (Frank Corbin) to solicit grant funds from
State and Federal sources for the construction and implementation of the Nushagak Area
Hydropower Project.

Cooperative, Inc., (NETC) do hereby certify that this is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by
the Board of Directors of NETC at a re -scheduled regular meeting of the Board of Directors held
September 23, 2008, in Dillingham, Alaska, as the resolution appears in the minutes book of the
cooperative and that it has not been rescinded or modified.
