Principals: BBFM’s owners are all long-time Alaskans: two were born here, and all four principals were raised here and graduated from Anchorage high schools. The majority of our 30+ years experie nce has been in Alaska, serving over 140 communities throughout the state from Ketchikan to Shemya and Kodiak to Barrow. BBFM’s owners are: Dennis L. Berry, PE Colin Maynard, PE Troy J. Feller, PE Forrest T. Projects Overview: With over 1500 projects completed to date, BBFM’s sample projects include: South Anchorage High School Arctic Slope Regional Corporation’s Ten-Story Office Building Anchorage Jail Century Theaters National Park Service Five-Story Office Building We also designed the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station Replacement Project in Antarctica. This building was designed to be built on a 10,000-foot-thick snowfield that is continually settling, moving, and accumulating. To accommodate for the snow accumulation (the snow never melts as the temperature varies between -120 degrees and +5 degrees Fahrenheit), the structure is being designed to be jacked up 12 feet, a story high, twice during its planned life.
