Level of information detail varies according to phase requirements. 1. Renewable Energy Source The Applicant should demonstrate that the renewable energy resource is available on a sustainable basis. Annual average resource availability. Prince of Wales Island has a virtually unlimited source of cord wood, logging waste wood, and industrial scrap wood. Unit depends on project type (e.g. windspeed, hydropower output, biomasss fuel) 2. Existing Energy Generation a) Basic configuration (if system is part of the railbelt grid, leave this section blank) i. Annual O&M cost for labor The City of Kasaan employs a full-time maintenance position who has a variety of responsibilities including maintenance of existing heating/hot water systems and operation of the back - up diesel generator. ii. Annual O&M cost for non-labor This figure was not available from the City and Tribe. c) Annual electricity production and fuel usage (fill in as applicable) i. Electricity [kWh] 111,474 KwH per year being used by the public buildings that will be served by the proposed wood boiler. (Does not include the boiler that will be constructed for the Discovery Lodge. ii.
