Re vision is excited about the opportunity to work with the University of Alaska
Anchorage on this river hydrokinetic site assessment and will support the project by
providing technical consulting and support services throughout the project.
Re vision consulting, LLC has played a pivotal role in the development of marine
hydrokinetic programs in the US and abroad, most recently providing a technical lead
role in EPRI’s River In-Stream program which included a collaborative program funded
by many Alaskan Stakeholders. It will leverage this previous experience to make sure
that this University project will yield meaningful results to this emerging technology
sector and transfer knowledge to this important program. Re vision will provide these
services in close collaboration with Idaho Power that will provide their expertise in
practical aspects of river measurements.

Proposed Statement of Work and Cost Proposal
Re vision estimates the proposed level of effort as follows:
Technical Assistance in Establishing Measurement Program including:
- Equipment Selection
- Establishment of Measurement Protocol
Water Resources Engineer: 40 hours @ $150/hour $6,000
Principal Engineer: 40 hours @ $140/hour $5,600
Onsite Training of Students
Water Resources Engineers (2X): 80 hours @ $150/hour $12,000
Principal Engineer: 40 hours @ $150/hour $6,000
Travel Expenses: 3 x $2500 $7,500
Continued Support of Program including:
- Support with problematic stream sites
- Establishing post processing routines
- Report review
Water Resources Engineer: 30 hours @ $150/hour $4,500
Principal Engineer 80 hours @ $140/hour: $11,200
Subtotal $52,800
Project Management and Coordination (15%) $7,920
Total Support Services $60,720
