RESOLUTION 2008-3, AUTHORIZATION FOR AEA GRANT APPLICATION
WHEREAS, the members of Fishhook Renewable Energy, LLC (FRE) desire assistance in
funding the development and construction of the Fishhook Creek Hydroelectric Project,
and
WHEREAS, the Alaska Energy Authority (AEA) is accepting applications for Fiscal Year
2009 Alternative Energy Grants (Grants) due on October 8, 2008, and
WHEREAS, FRE is in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, including existing
credit and federal tax obligations,
WHEREAS, FRE qualifies to receive funding from the Grants.
NOW THEREFORE, the members of FRE agree and affirm the following:
l . FRE shall apply for the Grants, and
2. FRE hereby authorizes Dan Hertrich to make such application and to represent
and act on behalf of FRE for all matters relating to the Grants, and
3. FRE will, should they accept the Grants, abide by all terms and conditions
imposed by AEA as part of receiving any such Grants.
